Dr. Gary S Wegman DMD

Dr. Gary Wegman is proud to serve the Reading and Berks County communities, where he has practiced dentistry with dedication since founding Wegman Dental Group in 1983. A native of the area, Dr. Wegman returned home after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has since served on the faculties of Penn Dental Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and Harvard School of Dental Medicine, reflecting his lifelong commitment to education and advancing the field of dentistry.

Dr. Wegman is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and maintains strong professional ties as a proud alumnus of Penn Dental Medicine. These affiliations underscore his adherence to the highest standards of ethical practice, continuing education, and patient-centered care.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wegman enjoys spending time with his family and tending to his vineyard in Exeter Township, where the outdoors and hands-on work provide balance and renewal. He believes this well-rounded lifestyle—rooted in community, family, and ongoing learning—enables him to bring experience, compassion, and excellence to every patient he serves.
